About

Change happens in the moments we feel understood.

I thrive in moments of genuine one-to-one connection. For me, therapy isn’t about quick fixes—it’s about the authentic encounters that happen in our conversations. That’s often when something important starts to shift. I strive to bring my full attention and emotional presence to every meeting. Seeing clients grow through these shared moments of honesty and vulnerability is why I do this work.

My ongoing training shapes the way I work with you.

My success—and yours—depends on being present and engaged. I’ve trained to stay focused and listen deeply on multiple levels during sessions, and I’ve studied how to navigate difficult but important conversations. I went to University of Pennsylvania for my BA and Simmons School of Social Work for my MSW. My post graduate training includes psychodynamic psychotherapy, mindfulness practices, grief work, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing—an approach that helps you find your own motivation for change. All of this influences how I show up with you.

I believe small changes add up to real growth.

Lasting progress in therapy comes from steady effort over time. I draw on well-established theories of change to guide our work together. What means the most to me is witnessing the gradual unfolding of a client—those small, consistent shifts in understanding and feeling that lead to meaningful growth. Along the way, I’ll also teach practical skills and coping strategies to help you handle life’s challenges with more ease and confidence.
